We got $4.8 million in
grant funding!
In February 2025, Karabar Housing Cooperative were overjoyed to be awarded a grant to build Carinya Horizons, the new transitional housing project for older women at risk of homelessness supported by the Housing Australia Future Fund and a pro-bono consultation team.

FUTURE PROJECTS
In 2025, Karabar Housing Cooperative purchased a block of land at 83 Uriarra Road, Crestwood.
The Cooperative is hoping to build 4 x 3-bedroom townhouses to offer as affordable housing to key and essential workers in the Queanbeyan region.
